The 9th China Wounds and Ulcers Conference Report
The 9th China Wounds and Ulcers Conference were held successfully from October 23 to October 25 , 2006 in Beijing. More than 200 medical experts attended this conference.
At the opening ceremony, the Sixth China Wounds Patients Recovery Stars were elected. After strict appraise, 14 healed wound patients with large burn wounds area were awarded with Recovery Star. The speech of doctors and patients representation deeply moved experts at the conference. The 3rd China excellent Wounds and Ulcers papers were also elected at the conference. Ten papers were awarded with excellent papers and this election greatly promoted clinical conclusion among doctors.
The vice-chairman of combination of Chinese medicine and Western medicine, Shenglongyu, gave a speech at the conference. He highly praised Dr. Rongxiang,Xu for his leading and organizing experts in burn wounds and ulcers to carry out effective technical spread, training, clinical practice and scientific research during the period of Dr. Xu taking the office of 1st and 2nd Chairman of Burn Wounds Committee. And Yu chairman also expressed heartily thankful emotion to Dr. Xu and his group for their effort and contribute to development and progress in treating burn wounds in both China an all over the world. Congratulated the foundation of 3rd Burn Wounds Committee and encouraged the new committee to achieve greater success.
Dr. Xu also thanked Chairman Yu and other experts for their attendance and also thanked leaders of combination of Chinese medicine and Western medicine for their support and help. In the speech of Dr. Xu, he introduced the progress in regeneration medicine research. The experts at the conference all were greatly encouraged and decided to take the cherish chance to learn the technique of regeneration to serve the patients at their cities.
Through the academic presentation and communication, all experts learn a lot about advanced regeneration medical technique. The conference successfully ended.
