A Trial Study on MEBO was Put on Records in WHO Trial Registration Data Set

A few days ago, a comparative trial study of MEBO and Diltiazem ointment in the treatment of acute anal fissures initiated by Eman Sbaity, MD, Principal Investigator, American University Medical Center in Beirut, was published in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine. It had been put on records in the World Health Organization (WHO) trial registration data set, which would provide information archiving, access query, progress tracking and research evaluation for it.

MEBO Was Again Included into Drug Catalog

In order to implement the decisions of CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and to ensure drug use for insured individuals, National Healthcare Security Administration and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security organized experts to formulate the "National Drug Catalog for Basic Medical Insurance, Work-related Injury Insurance, and Maternity Insurance (2021)" (hereinafter referred to as the "2021 Drug Catalog"), which was published on December 3rd, 2021. MEBO was included into 2021 Drug Catalog again (Chinese Patent Medicine), numbered 870.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Forum Was Held

In order to further improve wound management in the Middle East and North Africa and the health of the people in these regions, and bring benefits to COVID patients with skin lesions, MEBO Group proposed MEBT doctor training initiative in 2020 ( No. 36733) to support medical personnel there during the pandemic. In July 2021, the initiative was incorporated into the UN Sustainable Development Goals Accelerated Action Platform to unleash its potential.

Kevin Xu Attended the APEC CEO Summit

The APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) CEO Summit was held on November 11. Chinese President Xi Jinping was invited to deliver a keynote speech in Beijing via video titled "Insisting on Sustainable Development and Building an Asia-Pacific Community of Shared Future". Kevin Xu attended the summit at the invitation of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

The 13th APBC Came to a Successful Conclusion

The 13th Asia-Pacific Burns Conference (APBC 2021) and the 47th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Burn Injury (JSBI) were held online between October 21st and October 24th. APBC is an important event, which brought together doctors, nurses and researchers from all over the world, providing a valuable opportunity for global medical workers to share clinical treatment experience, latest research results and clinical management expertise. The theme of this conference is "The Next Dynamic Change in Burn Care-Coping with Infection, Infection Prevention and Control"

Kevin Xu and Li Li visited CNRB

On October 21, Kevin Xu and Li Li were invited to visit Chen Neuroscience Research Building (CNRB) and Kevin Xu Neurotechnology Lab. Professor Steve Mayo, Head of Department of Biological and Biological Engineering of Caltech, accompanied them throughout their visit. Professor Daniel Wagenaar, Director of the Kevin Xu Neurotechnology Lab, showed their advanced equipment for simulating neural experiment. The CNRB serves as an interdisciplinary brain research hub for the Kevin Xu Neurotechnology Lab.
