Kevin Xu Meets Bahrain Delegation to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

On October 3, 2025, Kevin Xu, Executive Committee Member and Director of the Bay Area Council (BAC), former Chair of the APEC Host Committee, and Chairman of MEBO Group, welcomed a high-level government delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain at the BAC headquarters aboard the Klamath. The delegation was led by H.E. Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Bahrain’s Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to deepen bilateral investment and economic cooperation between California’s Bay Area and Bahrain. Both sides discussed collaboration in sustainable development, innovation, and financial investment, emphasizing shared goals of inclusive growth and regional connectivity.

The visit marked the final stop of the Bahrain delegation’s U.S. tour and underscored the importance of strengthening economic ties between the Bay Area and the Middle East. Following the discussions, Chairman Xu and Minister Al Khulaif joined in a commemorative photo session at MEBO Garden, symbolizing the successful conclusion of this productive exchange.
