On December 2, 2025, the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) China Liaison Office convened the “Global Compact, Local Action” Annual Meeting, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the UNGC. As a UNGC participating company and a member of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Action Platform’s Global Expert Network, MEBO Group was invited to attend the Anniversary alongside representatives from international organizations, business, academia, NGOs, and think tanks to discuss pathways toward sustainable development and global public health governance.

Advancing Sustainable Healthcare under the Belt and Road Framework

At a dedicated ceremony marking the launch of UNGC’s BRI Global Expert Working Groups, MEBO Group was invited to join the Sustainable Traditional Chinese Medicine and Biotechnology Expert Working Group. This appointment reflects MEBO’s forward-looking contributions to the internationalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), its extensive global partnerships, and its role in strengthening public health cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. In collaboration with government agencies, research institutions, and leading experts, the Expert Working Group will help integrate TMC into high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and advance the shared vision of a global community of health.

Translating Regenerative Expertise into Global Action

Leveraging its leadership in regenerative medicine, burn and wound care technologies, and international emergency response networks, MEBO will contribute to initiatives including the development of emergency care guidelines, training and certification of overseas TMC professionals, the design of standardized emergency care kits, and pilot programs for TMC-based emergency care systems worldwide.

Aligning Corporate Practice with Global Standards

MEBO International joined the UN Global Compact in 2021 and has since participated in the Target Gender Equality and Climate Ambition Accelerator programs. At this 25th-anniversary milestone, MEBO Group was formally recognized as a UNGC participating company, reaffirming MEBO’s commitment—under its mission of “Striving for Human Life”—to advancing ESG leadership and sustainable development through multi-stakeholder collaboration.
