On August 17, MEBO Group leaders reinforced their longstanding partnership with California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA) by attending the inauguration reception of President Berenicea Johnson Eanes. Chairman Kevin Xu and Vice Chair Li Li joined distinguished guests, including CSU Chancellor Mildred García and CSU Board of Trustees Chair Jack B. Clarke Jr. Discussions focused on advancing collaborative research, joint talent development, and expanding cultural exchange programs.

Honoring a Legacy of Regenerative Science

Cal State LA, founded in 1947, is one of the region’s premier public universities. In 2016, the university honored the groundbreaking contributions of Professor Rongxiang Xu by establishing the Rongxiang Xu College of Health and Human Services and the Rongxiang Xu Bioscience Innovation Center. These institutions serve as vital hubs for education, research, and innovation, reflecting Xu’s vision of regenerative life science and global collaboration.

Driving Innovation and Cross-Cultural Exchange

The Rongxiang Xu College of Health and Human Services houses seven academic departments, including nursing, public health, and social work, and plays a critical role in advancing California’s health and public service sectors. Its School of Nursing, the only standalone nursing school in the CSU system, has repeatedly earned national recognition for excellence. Meanwhile, the Bioscience Innovation Center anchors the “California Biovalley” concept championed by MEBO Group, uniting industry, academia, and clinical practice into a powerful innovation ecosystem.

Building Bridges between Nations

Over the years, MEBO Group has partnered closely with Cal State LA through initiatives such as the Light of Regeneration Gala and academic immersion tours for faculty and students. These programs have strengthened U.S.-China ties in education, science, and culture, creating sustainable platforms for future cooperation.

MEBO Group remains committed to fostering international collaboration that honors Professor Xu’s legacy while shaping new opportunities for global health, innovation, and youth exchange.
