MEBO Group Attends the Opening Ceremony of the 8th CIIE and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum

On November 5, 2025, the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum officially opened in Shanghai. Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered the keynote address. Invited as an international corporate representative, MEBO Group’s Board of Director attended the opening ceremony alongside global political and business leaders, witnessing China’s commitment to openness and cooperation.
Premier Li Qiang Highlights Openness and Cooperation
In his speech, Premier Li emphasized that defining the values and principles that should guide international trade and economic exchanges has become increasingly important. He noted that the CIIE has gained growing global recognition and participation, and reaffirmed China’s commitment to fostering an open and inclusive environment, enhancing trade and investment liberalization, and ensuring the stability and smooth operation of global industrial and supply chains.
MEBO Marks Its Eighth Consecutive Participation
This year’s CIIE welcomes 155 countries, regions, and international organizations. Both the exhibition area—exceeding 430,000 square meters—and the number of participating enterprises have reached record highs, with over 600 new exhibitors joining the 3,496 participants from last year. As a long-standing multinational exhibitor, MEBO Group has participated in the CIIE for eight consecutive years, showcasing its diversified ecosystem and global innovation network.
Running concurrently, the Hongqiao International Economic Forum features 33 sub-forums and closed-door sessions, as well as more than 80 trade and investment matchmaking events. Through active engagement, MEBO Group continues to share insights from its internationalization journey and foster collaboration across industries.
