Kevin Xu Meets Former Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin to Discuss Global Cooperation and Women’s Empowerment
On November 8, 2025, Kevin Xu, Chairman of the Board of MEBO Group and former Chair of the APEC Host Committee, attended the Charlie Goes To Conference in Helsinki, Finland. During the event, Xu held an in-depth conversation with Sanna Marin, former Prime Minister of Finland, focusing on global industrial collaboration and women’s economic empowerment.
Xu introduced MEBO International’s “Mending Europe: Empowering the Establishment of a Regeneration Network” initiative launched under the Clinton Global Initiative, outlining its goals of advancing regenerative medicine cooperation across Europe. He highlighted the essential role of women in global governance and innovation, emphasizing that female leadership and youth participation are key drivers of sustainable progress. Xu also called for greater inclusion of women’s voices in international platforms such as APEC.
To commemorate the meeting, Xu presented Sanna Marin with a custom APEC emblem—symbolizing friendship, collaboration, and shared commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable future.
