Bridging the Asia-Pacific — MEBO Group Holds APEC Strategic Mobilization Conference in Gyeongju
On October 17, 2025, MEBO Group successfully hosted the “Bridging the Asia-Pacific — MEBO Group APEC Strategic Mobilization Conference” at The K Hotel Gyeongju, the official partner hotel of APEC 2025 in Korea. The conference aimed to build consensus and strengthen strategic direction as MEBO advances its long-term engagement with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).

The event opened with a review of MEBO’s three-year journey of deep participation in APEC initiatives. In his keynote speech, Kevin Xu, Chairman of MEBO Group and former Chair of the APEC Host Committee, emphasized that Gyeongju holds special meaning for MEBO — the place where the company first expanded onto the global stage in 2016. Returning nine years later, MEBO has evolved into a global enterprise shaping the “Community of Shared Destiny.” Xu noted that the APEC 2025 Summit will mark the completion of MEBO’s “Golden Decade (2015–2025),” as the company continues to align with California’s trade networks, strengthen academic collaboration, and expand its Asia-Pacific influence.

Vice President Liu Gang presented “MEBO’s Asia-Pacific Market Development Strategy,” outlining the company’s vision to move from participant to agenda-setter in the region. The conference also included thematic discussions and the “Honoring Contributors” awards ceremony recognizing teams and individuals for their outstanding contributions to APEC initiatives.
Following the conference, Kevin Xu and Vice Chairwoman Li Li met with Korea’s Prime Minister and APEC 2025 Chair, Kim Min-seok, at Gyeongju Station before traveling to Seoul for the Asia-Pacific Health Community Gala Dinner. The cordial exchange further underscored MEBO’s growing presence and leadership within APEC.
