Kevin Xu Attends APEC Leaders’ Gala Dinner in Gyeongju, Marking a Successful Conclusion to the 2025 Summit

On October 31, 2025, the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting officially concluded in Gyeongju, South Korea. As host, President Lee Jae-myung welcomed around 400 dignitaries and leaders including Chinese President Xi Jinping to the grand Leaders’ Gala Dinner.

Kevin Xu, Chairman of the Board of MEBO Group and former Chair of the APEC Host Committee, attended the high-level event accompanied by Kim Nam-kuk, Secretary to the President of Korea. Xu engaged in cordial exchanges with leaders and officials from across the Asia-Pacific region, reflecting on the positive progress made over the past three years in advancing regional economic integration and global health governance under the APEC framework.

The evening featured a vibrant display of Korean cultural diplomacy. Hosted by renowned actor Cha Eun-woo, the dinner reached its peak when global pop star G-Dragon delivered a surprise performance, followed by the dynamic theme “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters, creating a lively and unifying atmosphere among guests.

This cultural resonance extended beyond the summit. The night before, MEBO Group, an official APEC strategic partner, co-hosted the “Fusion & Regeneration” Executive Mixer with PAPER Magazine in Gyeongju, featuring Kevin Woo, a K-pop star from KPop Demon Hunters.
