On July 21, 2025, the China-U.S. Flying Tigers Friendship and Cooperation Forum convened in China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, uniting over 200 influential voices from government, business, education, and cultural heritage sectors. Themed “Carrying Forward the Flying Tigers Spirit, Strengthening China-U.S. Friendship, and Deepening Exchanges and Cooperation,” the forum celebrated a legendary bond forged during World War II and reignited shared commitments to peace and cooperation.

Representing the global business community, Yang Zhibin, President of MEBO Group, delivered a powerful keynote highlighting MEBO’s enduring role in advancing China-U.S. people-to-people diplomacy and economic collaboration. He emphasized the core values of the Flying Tigers—mutual support and shared success—and how MEBO, since its founding in 1987, has embodied these ideals in its international operations and humanitarian work.

Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng and Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation Chairman Jeff Greene both reinforced the historic significance of the Flying Tigers and urged both nations to protect and honor this legacy.
