Honoring Anti-Japanese War Heroes: MEBO Group Hosts Public Welfare Event in Shandong

Shandong Yinan—at the historic milestone of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, MEBO Group, in collaboration with the Shandong Anti-Japanese War Veterans Care Center, held a public welfare event themed “Honoring Heroes, Inheriting Red Heritage” to pay tribute to war veterans.

The event was attended by local government officials, representatives from the Chinese Volunteer Association, leaders of the veterans’ care center, MEBO Group executives including President Yang Zhibin and Vice Presidents Chen Baoqi and Zhang Qian, as well as faculty and students from MEBO International Class at Binzhou Medical University.

Gao Yusen, General Manager of the Veterans Care Center, delivered a welcome speech emphasizing the center’s commitment to comprehensive care for veterans and expressing gratitude to MEBO Group for its support. Yao Lixin, Vice President of the Chinese Volunteer Association, highlighted the role of MEBO’s volunteer team in demonstrating respect and care for war heroes, inspiring more enterprises and individuals to join volunteer efforts and continue red heritage.

President Yang Zhibin remarked that MEBO Group, as a life sciences company rooted in China with a global mission, integrates innovation in regenerative medicine with social responsibility, using concrete actions to honor veterans. He stressed that remembering the sacrifices of heroes motivates the company’s development while promoting societal care for the veteran community.

A highlight of the event was the establishment of the MEBO Group Volunteer Service Base at the Shandong Veterans Care Center, marked by a ceremonial unveiling. The donation of 33 fully automatic washing machines and MEBO Regenme Black Sesame Milk Compound Protein Drink further enhanced the living conditions of the veterans.

Interactive activities included attendees sewing Red Army shoulder bags with the veterans and singing classic revolutionary songs such as My Motherland and Ying Shan Hong, fostering intergenerational connection and transmitting red heritage. Veterans also shared stories of their wartime experiences with students, leaving a lasting impression of resilience and patriotism.

This event coincided with MEBO Group’s 38th anniversary, highlighting its enduring commitment to public welfare. Through material support, cultural engagement, and volunteer initiatives, MEBO Group continues to exemplify corporate social responsibility, honoring history while contributing to contemporary societal development.
